Nationals at Mt Snow, Vermont 2008

We had a great time at Mount Snow this past weekend. Shey flew up with Jansen on Thursday for a pre-ride and Everett and I followed on Friday.

It's hard to tell, but Brad is looking off into the distance and doing his best to look philosophical. We got to share the tent with the downhill guys. It kept things interesting.

Jansen, third at nationals.

This car was rolling back into the road and the boys held it as the hilarious little man ran out screaming.
Seth passing the field in jr ex. Cycle Youth had an excellent showing. 1st jr ex xc, 1st jr ex super D, 7th jr ex xc, 5th jr ex super D, 1st jr ex downhill, 3rd jr 1-14, etc. Lots of fun for the guys.

Brad tearing it up in semi-pro.

The three amigos. Tallest in the center.

Chris Herndon helped the guys out so much at camp, so it was really cool to cheer him on during his races.
Little Ethan makes it big on the downhill course! Huge congrats man!

Jansen had a fast field. The day before the race, the powers that be decided to change it to one lap, making this an all out sprint, instead of the sport type events these guys were used to racing. Then, they lined them up behind several categories of beginners, but they were faster than them all and had to weave through tons of racers throughout the race. Let's hope the promoters realize what a mistake that was and improve the category, next year.

Andy has tons of support from the Cycle Youth guys. Andy won his expert masters class and look cool as a cucumber crossing the line.
Krista, grinning through 4 laps in the pro field.

Tristan and Jansen waiting for the awards. Tristan had a great U23 race and is in top form this year...again! Natasha held her own in the pro women's field, as well. Very cool, girlie.

The roomates. Very cool group of guys. Uh, lots of dirty clothes on the floor and bikes...bikes...bikes everywhere. We spent lots of time watching Ninja Warriors on TV.

Catching some zzzzzs when we can.
Hiking in Massachusetts.

Dinner at Friendly's. Black raspberry ice cream...yum!

Super cool organic grocery store/deli in the village on the mountain.
