Jansen and Shey both got gelato after their races, so they were pretty happy. Jansen's race was changed from 40 miles to 20 miles on the start line in true USA Cycling fashion. (who needs to worry about training for a certain distance, anyway?) J crashed early on, recovered, then went on to finish 6th. Bummer, but it sounds like they had a great weekend and there was ICE CREAM! The guys raced at the same time, so not any pictures of them racing, but they did shoot some friends. Krista and Jansen. Jansen is a little more relaxed than Krista at that moment.

Giant had a great selection of demos.
S and J were happy as clams to walk amongst so many two-wheeled toys.
And a walk on the beach...
Everett and I spent a good bit of time going over college/scholarship applications at home......it's amazing how time consuming this has been! Then we spent a wonderful afternoon at the horse park, where Everett filmed some great footage of the trail with my new hero hd camera. More of that to come! The weather was gorgeous. It was even too pretty to feel grumpy about the bulldozed sections that have popped up on our beloved trail.

Oh, and don't tell Shey but we got doughnuts!!!
