I am so excited that we decided to skip Nationals and road trip to Colorado and Utah for two weeks. Two weeks of sweet riding, hiking and other odd adventures!
The usual suspects:

We drove through TN, MO, KS to CO
St. Louis Arch
We stopped just east of Kansas City to ride the Landahl trails. Pretty sweet. 102 degree heat, so thankfully most of the trail was in the trees/shade.
Then on to Wilson Lake to camp for the night. This was the view we woke up to.
Early morning ride in the cool temps. Very cool singletrack here with some great views.
I didn't get any pics of the rocky technical section, but it was a ton of fun.

Then we drove on to Denver and stopped at a bike shop for Jansen to pick up a new rear brake which he installed in the parking lot. Bike maintenance time for the guys.
We ran into the REI flagship store to grab some trail maps...about 10 minutes before they closed.
