Shey and the guys are testing their super cool, gadgety, manly xc trans-georgia gear, this weekend. Listening to all the banter is like listening to a kid with a new transformer toy. It's all bivy sacks, dry bags, straps, water filtration systems and super light everything....
They headed off on Friday and are making sure they have what they need for their epic ride. They have 5 weeks to tend to the details, then they are off for a luxurious, all expense paid (by them), vacation on a saddle, climbing with no gears and sleeping on the ground.
OH AND THEY ARE DOING IT XC STYLE WITH TWO OF THEM ON SINGLE SPEEDS! NO, I DON'T KNOW WHAT PLANET THEY ARE FROM, BUT STAY TUNED AND I WILL SURELY INTERVIEW THEM ALL BEFORE THEY ARE BEAMED BACK ABOARD THE MOTHER SHIP.
No trailers, no gears.

I definitely see Kristen and me planning one of these trips...with gears and wine.

and mad props to Hodge for carrying our butts to the border.
How can we continue to call him SS Rob is he insists on having gears?!?!
