What, that fancy new carbon mtb frame has a threaded bottom bracket and you want to use that BB30 spindle crank.  No problem!

 First measure the frame, 68mm good, 73mm bad.

Next get yourself on of these: 

And install per what they say: 

Then throw away this crap: 

And install one of these: 

About this thick: 

On this side: 

Lightly grease touchy parts:

Install crank per what they say and torque:

Check crank-arm to chain-stay clearance on both sides:

Check for side to side play, check for binding, spin and go ride:
