Couldn't Afford Pisgah Stage Race, but Did Find Melons at the Market!?!?!

Yep, kinda followed some friends (via videos online) in the Pisgah Stage race this week and were reminded that we never get tired of those Pisgah trails.  Watching their interviews (and the white squirrel that Shey thought was a rabbit) was entertaining, as well.

I was really craving some fresh melons this weekend, but knew we were hitting the fall season and I didn't think I would find any.  Lucky for me, there were a handful of cantaloupe and honey dew melons left at the local farmer's market!  Yeah!  And a small pumpkin, too.........and our favorite cranberry walnut bread from our local artisan baker.  Oooooh, good snacks this week!!

May have to head up to Pisgah for another long weekend, very soon.................
