Cool Pics from the Cyclocross Clinic

Here are a few shots from our Cyclocross Clinic this weekend. Huge thanks to everyone for coming out. We always have so many great friends who come to make sure everyone gets the attention and instruction they need. We had a blast and hope everyone else did, as well!

They were jumping barriers like pros within a few minutes!

Ah, those fun run-ups.

We had 17 awesome guys and girls out today. The weather was PERFECT!!! Four Cycle Youth guys showed and picked up the skills very quickly.
Part of the Hinkle dynamic duo. Seriously getting some air.

Kindle, showing us how it's done.

Brent and Trent, from Conte's, race over the barriers. HUGE thanks to Scooter for mowing the area for us. We were very happy that Conte's allowed us to use their field and more importantly....their bathroom!

The other Hinkle powerhouse. This guy was flying on his seat before you could blink and could clear those barriers in seconds!

Just a little practice and those barriers are not so scary.

Nice pics. Shey's barrier run shows the best technique. Some of the newbies are getting too much air. We had a good time too and looks like we have a green light for 2 more race venues (Tribble Mill Park and Little Mulberry Park).

What were the names of those at the clinic?

The riders were amazing. They start from scratch, as far as merging with the bike and crossing the barriers. Then they pick up the basics within just a couple hours. That is pretty cool. In a clinic, the riders are testing their lifting abilities. They really don't know how high the bike needs to be or how much push they need to get over the barrier, until they have tried it a few times. These are their first efforts.

We would love to have you come out and volunteer in September, if you are available. We will have a junior clinic, as well as a co-ed clinic. September 13th at 8am.

I do not remember the names of everyone, but Brian and Kindle Lord, Beth from Sorella, Blain, Trent, Brent, Jaimie, Josh and his wife, 4 Cycle Youth kids and one of their dads, a really cool guy who has been riding forever and is at IHP all the time, etc. Of course, Shey, Adam, Trish, Brian and the boys were there to help everyone.
