SAT and Dirty Spokes at Yargo

Everett was scheduled to take the SAT this past Saturday, so we switched our teams around for the 6 hour race at Yargo.

At the first 6 hour race, Shey and I teamed up and Everett and Jansen made a second team.

This time Shey and Jansen raced as a two man team, while I took Everett to and from his test.

The guys were in first, just a bit ahead of Greg, until the spindle on Jansen's pedal sheered off on his third lap. He finished his lap with one leg, but Greg's team passed him and they weren't able to completely make up the gap. Both teams went out for a last lap in hopes of making it back in time, but neither of them did. Big kudos to Mr. Turner, the everfast, master xc racer and his teammate! It's always great to see Greg at the races, he is a good egg. (he instructed Shey to stop giving the boys his hand-me-down parts :>)

Both Shey and Jansen had a great time visiting with friends and Everett and I had a nice afternoon grilling out at home.

Next is Ducktown! Yeah! I love that area!
