Texas and New Mexico

I made another long weekend trip to Texas to see our fun and crazy family.

The bluebonnets were blooming.  The cicadas were screeching and the sun felt great!

They are turning the old theater into a brewery.

Stopped by the heritage center in Comfort to check it out.

A nice walk around town with Dad.

We don't have live chickens right now, so I picked these guys up instead....not quite as amusing as our feathered girls were.

Always very happy to spend time with my awesome parents.  Here we have Dad wearing the flannel kilt I made for him, with one of the necklaces  I made for Mom.  Love that guy!

Then Shey and I headed out to NM to look at a property in Taos and visit with Kenneth and Kristina.  We went on a really cool hike with Kenneth.  He loves history and we love hearing the stories he has to tell about every area we pass through.
