Single Speed is incredible fun and the simplicity is so good for the soul.
These crazy guys raced fixies. Ah, but then Scott talked them all into taking off their brakes. I can't imagine what Hodge was like in high school......it seems he can get the guys to go along with all his crazy schemes.

Rusty, Scott and Trev are hilarious! Their craziness at the starts was very entertaining. It was so good to see Sven, Ann, Maria, Jeff and so many other people that we haven't seen in a bit. I wish I had a pic of Brian's (aka Sven) 90's skinsuit and helmet. He was hilarious and was melting away in the heat.
Maria even raced two xc events, because she like the championship jersey sooo much. It looks great on her, too!!
We really love working with John. It makes this whole race promoting thing fun! He's a great official and we are very thankful to have him.
We are so lucky to be part of a sport with so many awesome people. I had a small altercation with one spectator this weekend that made me realize how really cool it is that those guys are so very rare in this sport. We have soooo many good friends who are just cool people. Thanks so much to all of you for creating a place for my boys to become great men. They have learned to be humble and show their strength on the course. Thanks again!
