Day 1 TransGA

SC to Chattahoochee National Forest

Hodge was kind/crazy enough to shuttle the guys. After some last minute mechanical work, they headed up to sleep near the border.

Early Friday morning they headed out.

Hodge dropped the three guys off at the SC border. (where they apparently spray painted love notes to each other?)

This was an area that they used as a test run about a month ago. So, they passed this familiar sign.
Shey's Niner set-up. He ordered some really cool stuff from this guy in Alaska: http://www.epicdesignsalaska.com/
Chattahoochee!!!!!!
Dunno......
Cowart Gap - signage is good.

They stopped for brief meditation........

Looks like they will be spending the night near or in the Chattahoochee National Forest. LONG DAY, MAN.

Editor's Note: Though our family calls him Single Speed Rob, since we met him through co-promoting the single speed race, Jimbo has made a note that Rob is on a geared bike for this endeavor. Since Geared Bike or "14 speed Rob" just does not roll off the tongue, we will continue to call him SS Rob. Fortunately, we know Serious Bob will always be serious, Crazy Jane will always be crazy, etc, so no other names will be questioned.
